Seagrass meadows are critical feeding and breeding habitats for many marine species. This habitat is in dire straits, with loss rates of 7% per year. One way to monitor the state of seagrasses at global scale is to gather many marine volunteers and enthusiasts who can help collect much needed data and contribute to conservation actions. This website and phone app, created by Project Seagrass allow ordinary people -like you and me - from all around the world to collect data and help us understand how to better conserve seagrass meadows.
